My Childhood
I was born in Bremerton, Washington. I live in Bremerton for about the 1st year of my life and moved to Port Orchard, Washington soon after. I attended the Port Orchard Nazarene Church until I was 5 and then began attending the Free Methodist Church. I went to school at Given Elementary (Now The Given Community Center) and by 2nd grade I began attending East Port Orchard Elementary.

Every summer on the last day of school my mom would take my brother, sister and me to our summer home in Eastern Washington. We would stay there until Labor Day weekend. I would do nothing but swim and fish during those 2 1/2 months.

My Teen Years
These years like most people were the best times in my life. There isn't much to say about these years without taking a lot of time explaining lessons I've learned. After the Free Methodist Church closed its doors I began attending the Gig Harbor Nazarene Church for 3 years. I eventually came back to the Port Orchard Nazarene. The Port Orchard Nazarene Church is where I spent the next 7 years. I was very involved in the youth group during this time. I was also very involved in Bible Quizzing. The time spent in Bible Quizzing were by far the best memories I have as a teen. I wouldn't trade those times for anything.

My Life Now
This part of my life is till unfolding and if you're the least bit interested you can keep reading this blog as I write about things I'm interested in and the struggles I have. I was volunteering in the schools a lot over the past 7 years, because I love teens. I began working at The Great Escape Family Fun Center, until it closed. I now work at Cedar Heights Junior High as a Paraeducator. It's a great job if you don't mind annoying teens. I do, so of course I have a lot of fun.

What I believe This is where I tell you what I believe about God. I am not talking about the God Islam, Buddhism, Mormons, Jehovahs Witnesses, etc. Those gods are absolutely worthless. I believe in the One and Only God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, existing in three eternally distinct persons. The whole world was under a curse because of Adam's sin. Men died because of sin apart from the Law of God. When the Law came, men were made aware of their sinful condition and their own inability to keep the Law. We were in slavery to the law and needed a way out. So, when the right time came, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to be born of a woman and to live under the law. He died on the cross for my sins and the sins of the whole world, from beginning to end. He was buried and after three days. He came back to life from the dead so that death might loose it's power over us. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Jesus is the one and only way to the father. All other "ways to God" are worthless. It is through faith alone in Jesus Christ and what he accomplished on the cross, that we are saved. It is only by the grace of God, Nothing More, Nothing Less and Nothing Else. I struggle with doubts, I fail constantly, but God loves me to death...Literally. So here I am, in the present time, living by faith. You can read about it in this blog.
